Our small business, E-waste Collections Inc, is seeking $500k in early stage business funding to grow our Technology startup business. E-Waste Collections Inc. is located in Hilo, HI and our company currently brings in annual gross sales of $250k. I have included some basic details below regarding the funding that we are looking for. We have been working with Recycle Hawaii since 2004 and who has a contract with the county to collect our E-Waste and depose of it by shipping it off to mainland recyclers. Hawaii County is thinking about cutting the funding for this program. We are not allowed by law to be recyclers. We can not disassemble the e-waste and sell the by-products. Plastic, glass and the heavy metal reclamation is done only on mainland recycling sites. Some of the recyclers do pay for the raw material but not to the point of complete sustainability yet. The laws here are changing and we will soon be able to dismantle and this start up money would really help us on our way to self sufficient. Being one of the most well known places on the Big Island to dispose of electronics I have the drivers seat when the law does change and we as a company have the County's support. E-Waste Collections I would prefer to receive funding from these types of sources: -Equity Funding (Venture Capital, Angel, Private Equity, etc.) At this point in time, we fully intend to use the funds that we raise for the following purposes: -Operating/Growth Capital (Payroll, Sales & Marketing, etc)
